The Gili Islands belong to an archipelago of three islands (Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Gili Menoe) between the larger islands of Bali and Lombok, this system belongs to the wider Indonesian archipelago. Gili Air in Indonesia means small island "Gili" water "Air", is one of the few islands that has a source of fresh water, a huge source of wealth for this area now and in the past.
Gili Air is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Indonesia because of its white beaches and untouched coral reef. Local politics has sought to preserve the identity of the place, encouraging the use of the architecture of the place and promoting sustainable methods of moving; in the island there aren’t cars and scooter. The characteristic and the equatorial temperatures ranging from 22 ° to 34 °, make this area a paradise on earth. The Camilla Resort conforms as a system of villas just a few meters from the sea, the architecture is aligned with the traditional "rumah gladak", the typical local houses, which were added superior services. An entrance with pool and sun deck characterizes all the villas and a large bedroom, the type B - C also possess a large living area. Le isole Gili formano un arcipelago di 3 isole ( Gili Trawangan, Gili Menoe e Gili Air) a metà strada tra le più grandi l’isole di Bali e Lombok, questo sistema appartiene al più ampio arcipelago indonesiano. Gili Air che in indonesiano significa piccola isola “Gili” dell’acqua “Air”, è una delle poche isole che possiede una fonte d’acqua dolce, una enorme fonte di ricchezza per quest’area sia adesso che in passato.
Gili air è una delle località turistiche più famose dell’Indonesia proprio per le sue spiagge bianche e la barriera corallina incontaminata. La politica locale ha cercato di preservare i caratteri identitari del luogo, incentivando l’utilizzo dell’architettura del luogo e promuovendo metodi di spostamento sostenibili; nell'isola non ci sono né macchine ne scooter. La natura incontaminata e le temperature equatoriali ,che vanno da 22° a 34°, fanno di quest’area un paradiso terrestre. Il Camilla Resort si conforma come un sistema di ville a pochi metri dal mare, l’architettura riprende quella tradizionale del “rumah gladak”, le case tipiche del luogo, a cui sono state affiancati servizi superior. Le tipologie di ville sono tutte caratterizzate da un ingresso su piscina con area prendisole e un’ampia camera, il type B – C possiedono anche un’ampia area living.
